“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” John 14:23
Listen to this audio article:
What many people want is a unified experience with God during their meditation. They want to be as one with God. They want life, power, and energy from God. With it they know wisdom, peace, and happiness will come. The desire to be one with God is nothing new. Jesus even instructs us how to be one in John 14:23
Being one with God is and always will be the soul's natural inclination. Because the soul is born of God it constantly yearns for God. Without God, the soul can never be completely fulfilled. So it's perfectly natural for a person to seek a unifying experience with God.
Now listen to the word's of Jesus. “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.”
Notice that the word “We” describes God entering our body more completely. And the requirement of God's fuller embodiment is “keeping” His word. In Greek the word “keeping” literally means to keep as one. On other words, we are to keep His word as the natural thought of the mind, so God can more fully dwell in us.
Even though our meditations contain nearly a hundred verses per meditation so you can “keep” the Word, the way to accelerate your progress is to take some time out each day to read the Bible and contemplate on God's word.
Practicing this gospel strategy proves very effective when establishing a unified relationship with God through Christ Jesus. And from that unity more life, power and energy will will flow from your soul so you can proceed with more wisdom, peace, and happiness.
