How The Law of Reciprocity Improves Christian Meditation

Listen to this audio post:

“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38

Luke 6:38 is usually connected to money and teaching like this, “If you give it, it will be given back to you multiplied” Although in some cases it's true that God takes a donation and multiplies it into more money, this message conveys something more extraordinary.

Jesus states that anything given is returned multiplied into the bosom. The original Greek word for bosom describes the chest, or the heart. So the gain that comes from God as spiritual treasure into the heart, not the pocket book or bank account.

Once God's treasure is placed in our heart we can develop a life with more love, light, and wisdom. That's because the gift given to us is a grace from God that strengthens us and enables us to do things beyond our normal capacity.

If you've ever felt good feeling after giving, that's God's immediate deposit of reciprocity into your heart. What most people do though is start looking for the physical increase while ignoring the gift inside. Then God's gift with all it's potential begins to die out.

So how do you make reciprocity work for you? Just follow the words of Jesus. When you receive God's increased grace take time to read and contemplate on God's word. That time and effort will radiate with with more power. Your mind will become more illuminated and inspired by God's living word.

Those spiritual gains will change the way you think, act, and speak. It will inspire you to think in new ways, and see new possibilities, all of which will bring more gains into your life. A person's life can completely change.

The key to the law of reciprocity is investment. Once you receive, you have to lovingly and caringly invest the time and effort into the gift of God. God's gift will then have the avenue to expand and grow.

Christian meditation has the very unique trait of cultivating the presence of God. This unique trait can be accentuated by the law of reciprocity.

For that reason, we created a very special program to help you reap with God. We give away money as you buy programs. Every time you buy a program we feed a hungry child. So Christ Audio meditations will cultivate God's word in you, while God deposits His grace in your heart.

God bless you. We love you, and we're praying for you.
