Okay, so you're living a life with God. You go to church, sing songs to Him, you think about God, and read His word. Life is great, but you want more. You look into meditation and quickly realize that the discipline has nothing to do with God whom you love.
You wish and pray for some method that allows you to experience Him more deeply. You read articles and do your research and find that there is a small segment of Christianity that meditatively worships God. You like what you read, but some of the practices are not exactly what you're looking for or are just too complicated.
I have good news for you. The answer you're seeking is in the Bible. Best of all it's simple.
There are many references to meditation in the Bible, but there are three that stand out with straight forward instructions. Each comes with a promise of greater knowledge of God and His presence. Practice each one for a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks, and you will change.
Meditation #1 - Be Still
Psalm 46:10 states that God is known if we become still. More explicitly, the Psalm says that being still not only brings knowledge of God but action from God, more specifically against all evil.

Meditation #2 - Keep His Commandments
In John John 14:21 Jesus states that anyone who "keeps" His commandments will experience His manifested presence.

Meditation #3 - Keep His Word
In John 14:23 Jesus states that anyone who "keeps" His word will experience God's countenance and increased presence.

My personal favorite is number three. I've gone as long as four months meditating on God's word for 2 to 8 hours a day. The results will amaze you. Gods word is true.
I hope this article motivates you to start a loving meditation with God every. Rest assured we're supporting you with a prayer every day.
God bless you. See you in the kingdom.
