30-Second Cures To Anxiety

Written by: Jeff Ordonez

When dealing with anxiety, we must understand that anxiety may require the analysis of a professional, if you feel that your anxiety hasn't improved be sure to seek the counsel of a doctor or licensed therapist.

Let me start by saying that nothing is impossible for the person who believes. Belief sets in motion slumbering powers that give us the ability to do almost anything.

The key to achieving the virtually impossible is faith. There are countless stories of the miracles linked to faith. Faith can make the body well and make it perform extraordinary feats. Faith can help you overcome obstacles, heal disease, and help you to think and do remarkable things.

All people who have overcome insurmountable adversity have deep, unshakable faith. They achieve unbound success because they believe in something and employ all the energy of heart, soul, and mind with focus and purpose, and you can do the same.

The most powerful part of your body is your brain. If you can train yourself to think right, you will never have anxiety again. If you think thoughts of God and power, your body will feel refreshed and energized. The opposite is also true. If you think weak pessimistic thoughts, thoughts that disable confidence you will feel demoralized and lack energy.

It's of paramount importance you start training your mind with healthy, powerful thoughts that energize you with serene power that heals.

By adding faith to your meditative training, the chemistry in your body will change, and soon you will feel different and become renewed. The greatest ingredient you can add to your training is God. There is nothing like coming out of yourself and experiencing your Creator. It stimulates the recesses of your mind in ways typical thinking can't while emboldening possibilities you envision.

The following five points can help you regain graceful composure and poise in any situation, add them to your daily practice of reflective thought and belief and you will find relief.

Your daily habit should consist of early morning activities such as prayer, meditation of God's word, and dominant faith-visioning. Faith-visioning is described in the Bible and frequently associated with miracles.

Take for example the woman of the New Testament who bled for many years and given no hope by doctors. As reports came about a man named Jesus who healed many, she began to envision an encounter with Him and subsequent healing.

Despite her fragile condition and weakened state, the vision of the encountered energized her body through the crowd until she finally touched Jesus' garment and was healed.
Jesus applauded her tenacity, determination, vision, and faith in a mental scene she didn't give up on and said, "Be of good cheer, your faith has made you well."

Powerful thoughts combined with deep faith moves divine energy, and God will be happy to supply it to you and will even cheer you on. So I ask you, what is possible for you? The answer is all things because nothing is impossible with God. Take time each day to practice thoughts about God and His power working in your life.

Each point on this list will take 30 seconds or less to perform and are excellent adjuncts to your daily practice of thought training and faith.

1.  Visualize

Just like the woman healed from years of bleeding, you too can hold a picture in your mind that Jesus is your healer. Take a few seconds to close your eyes and be in Jesus. Visualize yourself in Jesus. The technique will provide you with healing energy.

2. Rhythmic Breathing

One of the greatest epidemics in our country is shallow breathing. Shallow breathing causes many abnormalities in the body and anxiety is one of them. The most common advice dispensed today is to breathe deeply. I'm here to tell you there is a scientifically proven way that heals your body. It's called rhythmic breathing. A study showed that rhythmic breathing boosted cancer-fighting cells in patients after receiving conventional treatment. Since then it's been discovered that rhythmic breathing soothes the nerves in the brain.

The key to rhythmic breathing is consistent regular intervals for both the inhale and exhale. If your inhale is four seconds long, it should remain at four seconds during the practice. The same holds true for your exhale, if it's six seconds long, it should stay at six seconds each time you exhale.

3. Exercise

Another way to improve feelings of confidence and self-esteem is exercise. If you are physically able, and if your doctor agrees, you should adopt a daily physical workout routine of some kind. Sometimes the anxiety pattern needs to be interrupted, a few seconds to exercise works wonders to get you back on track. Exercise improves heart rate, helps with oxygen intake while enhancing the body's circulation.

4. Act as if

The Bible affirms that we should pray believing in the object of our prayer and that our faith is powerful enough to move mountains. In Mark 11:24 Jesus instructs us that if pray and act as if we have already received what we want we will inevitably receive it. Wise words if you ask me. Jesus' instruction reveals that God's invisible divine power comes to those who hold in their mind some reality as true. Hebrews 11:1 mirrors the principle by saying that, "faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Whenever you feel anxious, interrupt your mind from the pattern for a second and start to look at God mentally. Feel His presence in you and all around you, feel how it changes you, then start acting according to your vision. Behave with confidence, control, poise, peace, and power. Your body takes orders from your mind, and when you employ this technique, you set in motion a powerful principle in the Bible. This technique can change your attitude in seconds.

5. Ashwagandha

Several anxiety supplements can help you take control of uneasiness. Naturally, you should consult a doctor before changing your diet or taking supplements. Once you get the approval of your physician, you can start trying supplements.

One natural herb that has caught the attention of scientists is ashwagandha which has the power to slow down the stress process in the body. There are many other natural remedies you can try in the quest for self-control. You can put a few tablets in your pocket and take one when you need a little help.

If you diligently practice the methods, I just outlined you could conquer anxiety. You can combine the techniques, or you can come up with your own.

The most important precept to remember is that God has all the power you need and that your faith envisioned is the substance of the reality you seek.

There is no doubt that what you seek will come to pass. You just need faith the size of a mustard seed. Then you need to make it grow daily by making it more real in your mind (Hebrew 11:1), and with God's love, nothing will be impossible for you.
