Your Step-By-Step Guide To Improving The World Around You
With all the turmoil, financial crisis, political battles, and social chaos that seems to occur daily we asked the question, can all this change? Can deep meaningful change happen in all of us so we only find peace an harmony every morning upon waking. Not just a nice feeling, but real spiritual love and peace that permeates every aspect of our financial institutions, government, and society.
The natural reactionary answer from our perspective is Christian meditation, right? But after exploring both the question and answer we discovered it is more than just sitting quietly and meditating on Jesus. Bring significant peace, love, and understanding into our world has to more with reflecting who we are, understanding our shortcomings, submitting ourselves to God's higher power through Christ, and then deeply contemplating over His word until it becomes the thought of the mind.
What we're talking about is a life change directed by the living breathing word, and Christian meditation play a small role in the development and cultivation of a beautiful life. If you decide move in this direction that will be one more person that will strive to bring about the best of humanity.
If you can affect one person in your sphere then that's one more person, and if that person affects another, and another, then we have a movement. Institutions, governments, and society are nothing without people. People are everything. If we are enough people enlightened by Christ, the Living Word, our entire population, or at least a large portion, will be the change all of us would love to see.
Step-By-Step Guide To Changing The World
Regardless of political affiliation, financial status, or philosophical ideology, we must know that we are imperfect of mind and soul. We must accept the reality that there is one supreme being, God, who is perfect in every aspect we can imagine and can't imagine, and that we fall short from such supremacy.
After accepting that a state of absolute perfection is existent only in God we can progress toward understanding that we can advance toward that perfection and to do so we need help from the Creator. Both spiritually and intellectually we need help from the One who has perfect knowledge of our unique existence. God, the Creator, is the only one who can deliver power, assistance, and guidelines on the path of a more wisdom-filled, joyful, and loving life.
Once we have accepted that God is highest supreme being who is perfect in all seen and unseen aspects, and understood that our Creator can assist us, we need to humble ourselves. In order to receive knowledge, power, and opportunity with God, we need humble ourselves to Him.
Spirit and all it's forces are limited, or unbound, are solely dependent upon how much, or how little ego, we have. To receive life we must first die (spiritually, ego), greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world, the Lord exalts those who are humble, blessed are the poor in spirit, blessed are the meek. Humility toward God is how the door begins to open, and how we receive the higher realms from God (the kingdom of God).
Next, you have to decide. Which direction are you going to pursue? The world offers many varieties of spiritual disciplines and religions. So many that they cannot all be discussed in this article. So I will pass a couple questions that helped me clarify my resolve in choosing my life long direction with vigor and energy. Here you go.
Does any instruction, any presence, any person, declare to be God or from God? If yes, then prove it! Show me how your message speaks as one instruction, in one book, over the course of thousands of years, and written by multiple authors. Only God, who exists beyond space and time can by His perfect omnipotent power influence the minds of people though thousands of years and in various geographic location, so that one unified coordinated message appear in a text.
The next question is, can I forgive my faults and sin, past, present, and future? Like it or not, in our imperfection we think, speak, and act well below God's incomprehensible perfection. So the fact is, every thought, word, and act that falls short of God's glory is not light, therefore it's darkness, and if it's darkness, how much darkness do we produce.
Is there one being, one power, that can forgive and completely erase the imperfections of the soul as if it never existed. What about the debt we may own to others and God? Is there someone, or some power, that declares to have the ability cancel the debt owed to others whom we may have hurt?
The answer become simple at this point – Jesus. Jesus is the only one in the history of recorded humanity that has declared to have the power to forgive sin and cancel debt. He also declared Himself to be One with the Father – Self Existing One, God and for that reason He has absolute power over all creation. So does any one, or any instruction, declare to have that kind of power over all creation?
At this point you need to make the decision as to whether or not you want follow the Judeo Christian God. If you need to perform more research before continuing, go ahead and come back to this article.
5. Divine Grace
Once you've decided that there is no other alternative to having a more unified life with God the next step is to accept the method God chose to enable power in you – the sacrifice. In order to elevate, bless, and inspire people, God chose the path of sacrifice in love.
Instead of overruling free will and making the change, God chose to shine love through the flesh, and He did with Jesus. Flesh created by God Himself and then in love for us tortuously sacrificed. But with death came resurrection, life, conquer, freedom, and God's release of spiritual power – the Holy Spirit.
The only thing any one has to do to receive the overcoming power of the Holy Spirit is to believe. That's it just believe. No ritual, no fees, no special visits, just believe.
Stop everything you're doing or thinking. Clear your mind from worldly thought. With your mind and heart look at Jesus. He is with you. With a sincere heart say, “Jesus, I believe in you.” Say, “I believe you were incarnate in the flesh, that you died on the cross, and were resurrected on the third day.” “Forgive me of my sins. I repent. Through you all people are saved.” “I declare you to be my Lord and Savior. Come into my heart.”
7. Christian Meditation
Now that you opened the door to God's love, mercy, and grace it's time to open the book that contains instruction authored beyond space and time, the Bible. Your first priority is to read, study, ponder, and most importantly meditate on the the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
Take time out each day to analyze verses. Apply them to your life. Meditate on them until they become the thought of your mind. (John 14:23) As you mentally train your mind with God's word God's light, power, and presence with increase. (John 14:23) Enlightened by His wondrous light you will experience life at different level.
Your light and spiritual love from above will bring calm and peace to others, hopefully inspiring them to follow the same path.
Jesus is the way, life, and the truth. Include this principle in everything you do and you will express Jesus in the flesh.
These 7 steps is how each one of us can influence the world around us in positive ways. Influencing others with love, peace, and understanding, is how we can lead others to a better life, and if the majority is enlightened by God this way, then the world really can be improved with Christian meditation.
