What's remarkable is that the Bible describes a similar technique for positive inner health. 1 John 1:9 says that we must recognize our imperfections and confess them to God who is faithful in forgiving and purifying us.
Although science admits that people are constructed to benefit from the acknowledgment and relinquishment of imperfect thought patterns, the Bible tells us that we must acknowledge God and relinquish ourselves to Him as the source of purifying power.
Christian mindfulness meditation helps you mindfully become aware of the mental activity that may causes stress and tension, hand it over to Jesus, then heal in God's loving power so you can enjoy a wonderful afternoon with your friends and family.
The best way to get started is to simply find a quiet room where you can sit for a few minutes after a hectic day. The best time to meditate is before you eat, so consider meditating before a meal. Get in a comfortable position, then close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.
Expel the day's tension and stress as you breathe. Just let go for a few relaxing moments with Jesus. Confess to Jesus anything that bothers you or causes you stress, after a few deep breaths start to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, then let go in God's love.
Ten minutes in God's love is all you need to heal, clear the mind, and regain your composure with Jesus. The entire meditation should last approximately 20 minutes, if you go 30 for minutes, that's okay too.
