Empower Your Best Self With Relaxation (Part 2)

In part one of this article, we explored the fact that it is the lack of realization that results in low self-esteem thoughts and eventually to anxiety and depression. But once we find in ourselves individuality that is uniquely expressed through our God-given potential, mind and body soar with power.

But it is only through the congruency of mind that we can achieve total freedom in power. Imagine if Jesus had a single doubt in His subconscious before multiplying bread for five thousand people. The miracle would have never happened. The concept becomes more vivid when we consider that right before Jesus performs the miracle His disciple proclaim that a few loaves of bread are not enough to feed the multitude.

Jesus replies by taking over the project. If the disciples had had congruency of mind the miracle would have advanced through them as Jesus instructed. Faith moves God's power when inner and outer mind are in agreement. Jesus had congruency of mind. He did not doubt His mission or how to accomplish it. He operated with one purpose at all levels, and you can do the same.

When your conscious and subconscious line up in one purpose and upheld by a bedrock of supportive thought nothing will be impossible for you. Even the Bible states that "Everything is possible for him who believes." Mark 9:23.

When a thought, or purpose, pass through our mind and body without hinderance, our individuality in God's image becomes empowered and expressed with our own unique character. The result is a powerful calm personality that accomplishes anything, just like Jesus.

Your subconscious mind has built up many thoughts and beliefs over the years without strain or effort. Good or bad, positive or negative, it simply accepted things it's heard, seen, or experienced. Our habitual thought patterns were formed in the same way and are guided by the subconscious, if you change the driver of habitual thought an entirely new world of possibility and opportunity will open.

The best way to process new thoughts and beliefs is through relaxation. A resounding number of tests show that if we force our mind to think in a certain way the strain will have the adverse effect of adding stress. Most people fail to use their inner powers simply because they fail to understand how the brain works.

While we relax, our brain activity decreases around the area called dorsal anterior cingulate. This part of the brain helps you to become absorbed in a pursuit.

Then your brain increases connectivity between the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and the insula which helps process and control information that goes to the body.

Finally, there's a reduced connectivity between the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, the medial prefrontal, and the posterior cingulate cortex. This decreased connectivity allows a person to more clearly experience thought as action.

If you relax and explore the hidden mental patterns that hinder your highest performance, you can easily fix them, or change them altogether with positive visions of yourself and God. If you consistently and consciously rehearse the new mental patterns, soon you will have the congruency of mind needed to accomplish just about anything.

Virtually all psychologists agree that if you have a clear mental picture of a changed behavior or a result from a changed behavior, the attainment of the goal becomes achievable.

So it's time to relax your way to a better self. Take time out each day to relax. Dive deep into your subconscious and begin to visualize your God-given dream, or goal. If you feel resistance, doubt, or fear, that's your subconscious beliefs fight back. Unless you change them, they will get in the way of a miraculous life. Observe them and then decide to release them. Dramatize the event by blowing them out with your breath. Then begin to envision a new picture of yourself and all the feeling and emotions that go along with the new vision.

Start to think in ways that support your vision. If you get resistance from your subconscious, just let it go and keep producing positive subconscious thoughts that support your new vision.

Throughout the day recall how it felt to see a new vision of yourself. Rehearse the experience in your mind many times throughout the day and new sense of your life will unfold.

The key to this technique is constancy. You cannot stop. If you stop, you will reverse course and fall back into the old self. If you keep the dream alive by mental practice, it becomes empowered by God with tremendous force. That's when you begin to see results. You'll know you're on the right track when you see results in yourself first.
