The Practice Can Change Your Health In Less Than 24 Hours

Experiencing the supernatural allures many people into the realm of meditation, and over the centuries these type of encounters has shaped the practice and teaching of many meditation practices. The question for science is to either prove or disprove whether these spiritual experiences are the domain of miracles or not.

Between 2006 and 2009 over 1,000 scientific papers have been published documenting the effects of meditation. Multiple branches from several disciplines, including physics, cardiology, physiology, to counseling have all reported positive results. From minimizing addictive behavior to reducing Fibromyalgia symptoms, meditation has constantly proven itself to be much more than a spiritual disciple. Although most research focuses on stress reduction, sleep problems and attention issues, emerging evidence on the lasting effects meditation has on our neuroanatomy, and particularly our brain is, perhaps, the most fascinating research of all.

Documented experimentation shows that deep “stillness” affects the entire brain. When a moment of stillness (Psalm 46:10) occurs, our frontal and temporal lobe circuits — which tracks time and awareness — appears to "relax". In other words, the mind and body are perceived by individuals as one. A powerful state of mind indeed. These studies demonstrate that in this state of mind the limbic system, which is responsible for assigning emotional values to people, places, situations, efficiently regulates relaxation while controlling the autonomic nervous system, heart rate, blood pressure and metabolism. This produces both an emotional and physiological as the brain becomes naturally balanced.

Because meditation improves the limbic system in our brain, a proper meditation discipline allows a person to have better command of over emotional, or sometimes irrational responses. The calming effect leaves us relaxed and physiologically regulated so we can handle life's stresses. High coherently focus, the byproduct of meditation, occurs because the brain is naturally enhanced with greater concentration power and reduced inner dialogue and disruptive emotions. Your brain structure literally changes and becomes rewired.

Dr. Yi-Yuan Tang, of Dalian University of Technology in China, and Michael Posner, of the University of Oregon, scientifically demonstrated that meditation changes one’s brain in as little as 11 hours!

So if you are seriously interested in the healing qualities of self-improvement that allows God to do wonders in your body Christian meditation could be the answer. Its reward is a kind of mental coherence that restores mind and body. If you commit to a daily practice for just 30 days, I believe you will find good reasons for continuing.

Guided Christian Meditation For Healing And Health - Technique and Script

"And he said unto her, Daughter, your faith has made you whole." Mark 5:34

Who's faith heals? Yours or God's? Your healing begins with your faith. If you can improve your mind and how you surrender to God with total conviction and faith healing will happen.

Improving yourself starts with the mind. A busy mind filled with chaotic worldly thought could never reach God, or see Him, or hear Him. It is only the pure of heart, or those who spend their life training the inner self to be pure in God's sight, that hear and see God. That's where Christian meditation helps.

Quiet time focused on God's word and His presence will not only change your brain, but bring into focus God's divine presence in you. (John 14:23) When that happens an entirely new dimension of Spirit will be present in you. Logically speaking, if God's presence intensifies in you health and healing is expected.

Start Here

Prep Work: So the first thing to do is to take up a daily habit of reading, concentrating, and meditating on God's word. Then regularly pick a verse, a few words, or a holy name to focus on for this meditation.

1. Find a quiet and peaceful place and get into comfortable seated position, close your eyes, and take a deep breath.

Release.

Take another deep breath,... and release.

2. Now simply observe the rhythm of your breath. Pay attention how your breath goes deep into your lungs at the center of your chest, your heart.

As your breath into your heart realize that since you are believer in Christ, His body and blood are yours and beating in your heart.

Breathe in purposefully rhythmic fashion. For example, inhale for 4-5 seconds, and exhale for 5 - 7 seconds. Make sure your breathing is smooth, not forced. It should just flow into the heart of Christ in you.

Do this for about a minute or two.

3. Next, recall the Bible verse, or holy name, you selected for this meditation and mentally repeat it as you inhale and exhale. Here at Christ Audio the preferred term is "Yes Jesus". "Yes" on the inhale, and "Jesus" on the exhale.

Rhythmically, smoothly, and slowly focus your mind to fully accept Jesus with every breath, thought, and heartbeat. You should feel total and complete love for Jesus, heart, soul, and mind.

Do this for about a minute or two.

4. Now totally and completely let Jesus' flow throughout your entire body, abdomen, shoulders, arms, legs, hands, feet, and head.

Totally and completely go into Jesus. He loves you, and you love Him. You have full faith, and you let go in Him with full faith.

Do this for about a minute or two.

5. Take a deep breath, release, and relax.

Start to become aware of the room you're in. Slowly move your head, fingers, and toes.

Take another deep breath and release.

Very slowly start to open your eyes. Open them very gently.

After you've opened your eyes please give thanks to God and pray!

Conclusion

How meditation enhances mind and body is nothing new. Science has just recently caught up to the Bible. Proverbs 4:21 - 22 its states that those who "keep" the word, or mediate on the word until it becomes the natural thought of the mind, it becomes health to flesh. today we call this positive genetic activity.

Simply meditation exercises have shown to have a positive effect on genetic activity. The Bible states something better. In John 14:23 Jesus states that anyone who "keeps" His word, the increase presence of will enter a person.

Scientist are just scratching the surface. What you can't do is measure God's presence within a person. If it could, scientist would point to God's word and recommend Christian meditation as the ultimate spiritual discipline.
