Secret Bible Verses To Christian Enlightenment and Meditation

Author: Jeffrey Ordonez

The way of God is mysterious. Sometimes God may appear to deliver on His promises, yet others not so much. Why is it that at times God appears to be in total synchronicity with us and sometimes He seems to be very distant?

The secret is in the words of Jesus and a simple Christian meditation. In John 14:21 and 14:23, Jesus states that if anyone keeps His words and commandments, they will experience an increased presence of God.

In these verses we are told that by "keeping" God's word and commandments something unique and special happens - God's countenance is focused upon us and it begins to enlighten us.

There's really only one way to "keep" God's word, or anything else pertaining to thought, concentration. If a person spends enough time on a regular consistent basis ruminating over anything, the topic of focus can, and will, become the natural thought of the mind. This practice will make it the predominant body of knowledge that leads all conscious and subconscious thought.

Unlike secular subjects, the wisdom of Jesus states that God's word built as a body knowledge in the mind induces God's love to be individually expressed within us at higher levels. This is true Christian enlightenment.

There are different types of meditation described in the Bible, but Jesus recommends concentration as the preferred method to union with God. In the secular realm, concentration mediation can also be known as mindfulness. This is largely due to the fact that mindfulness teaches to focus on the breath while letting the mind unwind. This of course is in stark contrast with Jesus' instruction to focus on God's word which would naturally cause the mind to let go of extraneous thought.

The power to meditatively concentrate was endowed to us by God, and scientists are just now realizing how powerful this ability really is.

This type of meditation enhances regions of the brain associated with awareness, memory, and compassion, or love for others. That's right, the mechanism God designed in us is so powerful that simply sitting quietly for a few minutes each day will trigger a person to follow God's second most important commandment - to love your neighbor as yourself. (Mark 12:31)

It appears that scientists (Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and the University of Massachusetts Medical School - Results published in Psychiatry Research: Neuroimaging Jan. 30, 2011) not only discovered how to naturally trigger obedience to God's law to love others, but inadvertently revealed to the world that God's law to love others is genetically embedded into our DNA which causes us to behave accordingly.

Mindfulness meditation is the practice of paying attention to our experience from moment to moment without drifting in thought. Christian concentration meditation (CCM) on the other hand, is the practice of solely letting God's cultivated word within us be the guiding light to all our thought, speech, and action.

God's cultivated word within us will naturally, and organically, overcome all carnal worldly thought that is not in alignment with God. The greatest benefit of CCM is the increase of God's presence which enlightens our being with His holy presence. This is something scientists can't measure nor can philosophies like Buddhism can claim with their contemplative traditions.

Do you want to enlighten your whole being with God's presence? Follow Jesus' instruction in John 14:21 and 14:23 and your sure to discover His promise to be true.

Here's a full detail on how to meditate on God's word until God's presence resides in you more fully. The principle is simple and straightforward. Find time every day, especially in the morning (Psalm 1), to concentrate on the meaning of every word, sentence, phrase and paragraph you study. take time to contemplate on what you study and how it reveals information. As you practice this technique you may feel sensations in your brain, that's your brain adjusting according to God's word. (Romans 12:2)

As you practice this technique you will become more enlightened by God's spirit. The more and regularly you meditate this way the better you will feel spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. God's peace will calm you, His spiritual treasure will fill heart, and His wisdom will tough your mind.

Then you have to make sure that you keep His commandments. Here's a link to the Commandments of Jesus. Study them, practice them, and make them your own. God honors people who follow His commandments.

Start today and within 30 days or so you will be a new person. Continue the practice and you will be a vessel of the Most High who accomplishes His will in real-time.

God bless you. See you in the kingdom.
