See it, Believe it, Receive it - Mark 11:24

Written by: Jeff Ordonez

Nothing on earth is more significant in potential power than the human mind. The human mind is in touch with the greatest power of the universe, God, and it dwells in every human being. God is a power that blasts through mental patterns that inhibit triumph. It can lift a person out of squalor into an expansive life.

The media continually documents the extraordinary lives of average individuals invigorated by something as simple as an idea.

You have the same potential power; you just need to develop it. Christianity teaches that once we are born again in Christ Jesus, we receive God's power as a Spirit.

The energy that moves mountains and planets resides in you. Jesus once declared that a person only needs a small amount of faith to move mountains. Faith, or the power to see and believe in something, is all you need to move God's vast resources of supply and energy.

When you understand that your life develops with every thought, you take great care in disciplining and advancing your thought life with purpose and meaning.

And when your mind rises with purpose and power it begins to release innovative thought that paves the way to a new abundance.

The full and proper use of your mental energy is what's going to help you realize any goal or dream. In Mark 11:24 Jesus said, "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."

I like to summarize the verse by saying, "If you can see it and believe it, you can receive it." If you consulted God to make sure the object of your prayer is right to receive, then there is no doubt that you will. All that's left for you to do is to take action, daily consistent, unrelenting action.

The greatest hurdle people face to reaching the level of mind needed to accomplish a goal is getting out of the mindset that keeps them in stuck.

One of the most formidable challenges is to become aware of the psychology that quietly runs our life. It's a faint voice that paints colored pictures about who we are and what we think about the world. It has a potent effect on us because it's subtle, quiet, and works at lighting speed usually without our conscious knowledge. It works continually without a break and its designed to deliver the substance of its contents.

This power has been mismanaged for millennia and is the single biggest problem Jesus encountered with us.

Once a crowd of five thousand followed Jesus into an area where there was no quick access to food. Seeing that it was getting late Jesus instructs His disciples to feed the crowd. Instantly, the disciples react with the words, "We can't!"

They defend their position by pointing out that they only have a few loaves of bread and some fish. Jesus takes the loaves and fish and shows them how it's done.

This story presents two valuable lessons. First, the disciples never stop to consider that if the Son of God asked them to perform a miracle that He deemed them capable.

Many times in your life God will expect you to perform miracles because He deems you capable, but the subtlety of your subconscious mind flashes visions of the impossibility to your conscious mind which then supports is with logic.

Here's the second lesson. You have a quiet, subtle mind that is continually working in the background that can hijack your conscious mind with inferior thought, and when it does, it nullifies God's power.

Don't let that be you. God gave us a beautiful instructional book; it's called the Bible.

Psalm 46:10 says that we must be still to know God. Cultivating stillness of inner being not only helps us to be aware of God but of ourselves. This wise precept allows us to be aware of God, ourselves, and ultimately how we think which determines how our life turns out. Scripture also says that we must constantly be vigilant of our mind. We must guard it, cultivate it, and be fully aware of its activity.

In the quietness of meditation, we can hear and experience the subconscious. These deep inner pondering developed over the years and coalesce into a conglomerate that rules us from within.

The quiet stillness described in Psalm 46:10 is how we go before God and listen to our inner programming so we can change it. If there's anything you remember from this course, it should be this. It's up to you to understand and release unwanted subconscious thought. It's also up to you to build subconscious thought that keeps you moving in the direction of your dream with God.

It's not up to God. It's up to you. Jesus once taught that if you plant a good seed, you get good fruit. You can't plant a bad seed and expect good fruit. You have to rip out the negative seed by the roots and plant wholesome thoughts from God that helps you achieve the impossible.

This process will help you to idealize a new life with God.

In Matthew 21:21-22 Jesus says that anything we ask in prayer we must see in our mind as real, so we may receive it from God.

You were designed by God with a conscious and subconscious mind so you can perform this instruction. If the disciples had gone through the simple exercise of optimizing their subconscious, they would have immediately performed the miracle Jesus asked.

If your subconscious and conscious are in perfect harmony with a singular concept of God and life nothing will be impossible for you.

Jesus in His own way demonstrated this state of mind when He realized miracles. If even the smallest doubt, worry, or fear existed in His mind, a single miracle would not have been possible.

What we're talking about is congruency of mind. Take ten to twenty minutes each day to just relax and be still with God. Fix your mind on Jesus. See yourself as one with Him.

Here's your Meditation Instruction for this lesson.

Start by getting into a comfortable seated position, close your eyes, and take a deep breath, relax.

Begin visualizing Jesus becoming one with your entire body as you breathe. Let Jesus the complete power that resides in you.

Remember, faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) Jesus dwells in you by your faith. (Ephesians 3:17)

As you go deeper in relaxation, you may begin to feel things, or see things. The feelings or visions are coming from your subconscious mind. You may feel insecurities, doubt, fear, shyness, anxiousness, worry, sadness, whatever it is you have to remember that you are one with Jesus.

Take a deep breath, and as you exhale let it go. Declare to God that you no longer want it and you choose Him instead. Keep repeating the process until you feel light and free. Let God be the power that blasts anything that is not compatible with Him. Then accept God's fullness in replacing everything you let go.

This is when God's eternal love flows as healing, power, energy, and creativity. You will feel peace and stability of mind.

The Kingdom of God mindfulness meditation audio included with this program will guide you through the process of quieting the mind, observing thought, letting it go, and allowing God's magnificent power to rule within you.

What I've noticed with most people is that they might do the exercise a few times and then stop. Having the audio that guides you through the process makes it much easier to stay consistent. I've learned that having the audio is like having an instructor available at the push of a button.

As you quiet the mind, let go of any deeply rooted negativity, and you consciously allow God to flow through you can begin to dream, plan, and organize your life accordingly. Everything exists first in the world of our mind then in the outer world.

If you can see it, and believe it, you can receive it.
