Christian Mindfulness Meditation for Health and Healing

For many decades the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has supported hundreds of studies in association with the National Institutes of Health on the health benefits of mindfulness meditation. The studies conclude that meditation may help to normalize a variety of conditions, like high blood pressure, irritable bowel syndrome, and other physical conditions. Additionally, a person's overall health improves when a few minutes a day is dedicated to quiet time.  A 2011 study shows that even brain matter thickens with just eight weeks of meditation causing people to think and learn better.
