The Enhancing Performance Power of Christian Mindfulness Meditation


Clinical study after clinical study show how mindfulness meditation improves cognitive skills, memory, creativity, productivity, even athletic performance can be enhanced, a well-known secret among Olympic champions.

Research data shows that mediators report increased job satisfaction, higher task performance, and better relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and family.

Regardless of your goal, meditation is scientifically proven to improve your performance at both the inner and outer levels of mind.

What the scientific community has lacked to observe is that all improvement comes from God and that if we become mindfully aware of God as the source of all good things we can improve even more.

Hebrews 4:16 says, "Let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need."

And Ephesians 2:18 declares, "through Him, we have access in one Spirit to the Father."

In John 14:6 Jesus emphasizes that no one can get to God to receive the highest good unless we go through the Son.

Christian mindfulness meditation is the simple exercise of letting the busy carnal mind rest for a while. Often we are so busy we become unaware of God. Christian mindfulness lets you just be with God for a few minutes each day, and it has its benefits.

Colossians 1:9 describes knowing God provides us with knowledge and spiritual wisdom. John 17:3 says that you will know the only true God, and Jesus Christ, and Galatians 4:8-9 - states that you attain self awareness.

Additionally, the Bible boasts that if we continually cast ourselves in Jesus and His word we become more loving, gracious, poised, thoughtful, generous, merciful, patient, persistent, creative, and peaceful. Sounds a lot like what scientists are discovering today.

If you feel that there are areas in your life that could improve, maybe it's time to adopt a Christian mindfulness technique. We have plenty of training programs in our store, but you can do it on your own.

To start the practice yourself pick a spot where you can sit for a few minutes undisturbed. Then close your eyes and take a few long deep breaths and just observe how your mind and body feel. Let your body settle down and relax.

After about five minutes you'll feel relaxed. Start letting go in Jesus. Mentally see yourself becoming one with Jesus. Let go. Let Jesus be everything. After about practicing this step for about ten minutes you can begin to move around a little bit and slowly open your eyes. That's it!
