Very few people know what string theory is, and those who do often feel a sense of privileged because God reveals Himself in nature. String theory provides an unmeasurable model of the universe that testifies about the wonders and miracles of God's creative work all around us.
The principle is quite simple. Beyond the smallest particles of the atom are infinitesimally tiny strings of energy that vibrate at specific frequencies. It's theorized but mathematically proven, that these bits of energy are what determines how and why atoms resonate.
We live in a universe where intelligent frequency directs each atom into shapes and forms. Without intelligence leading the vibrational structure of every mass in the cosmos, creation would disintegrate. Now imagine the amount of knowledge and capacity it takes to manage, coordinate, and sustain all structures in the universe, including human beings who have intelligence, this is when science retreats because God is the obvious answer.
The scientific discovery of strings shows that the entire universe is like a symphony of frequencies and it all flows from God.
Consider the first four verses of Psalm 19.
"The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.
Day unto day utters speech,
And night unto night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech nor language
where their voice is not heard.
Their line has gone out through all the earth,
And their words to the end of the world."
These few lines state that creation testifies of God's powerful work in all things. In the second verse, the Psalmist says that all creation has "speech" and that it reveals knowledge. This passage describes something that is virtually identical to today's most profound scientific discoveries about miniature vibrational strings.
In essence, the Psalmist is saying that the universe has sound and frequency, and it's all intelligently controlled.
The third verse, states that the "voice," or sound frequencies, is in the midst of all things including among the speech of humans, a powerful implication which we'll discuss in a moment.
The last verse emphasizes that the frequencies travel from one source and that its intelligent presence is in all creation.
As we continually prove God's word with science an astounding picture starts to emerge, we are much more than we think, or even know.
The book of Genesis describes that we are created in God's image. Think of the implication while considering Psalm 19 and string theory. Both state that there are fundamental energetic frequencies that govern all creation. While science falls short of announcing that there is a master intelligence controlling the frequencies of creation, Psalms 19 states that it's God, but it goes further.
In the third verse, it says that God's frequencies, or sounds, are in your voice! Now think of the visual this presents. We know that God created the universe and that He intelligently sustains everything through frequencies. You, who are made in God's image and while your atoms are controlled by God to keep the form you know as your body, within your voice is the power of God.
So much like God who controls the atoms of the universe, you have the authority also to control the atoms in the universe of your body, albeit to a limited extent.
This where prayer, singing, and chanting comes in. Imagine using your voice to influence your body with God's word; this presents a compelling idea. Although we can't quantify or measure exactly how our voice affects the atoms around us or in our body, it does follow the biblical logic that if God created us in His image and He gave us the power, then it stands to reason that it must result in change if we use it.
In lieu of everything we know today, we can say that a quiet meditation discipline is best observed with a regular practice of song, prayer, or chanting.
Every morning when you wake up and give thanks to God and after you meditate with Jesus. Try taking a few minutes to pray aloud. You can also sing to God or chant. Just be sure to do it from the heart and in thanksgiving to present and future blessings. Then go about your daily activities.
It's also helpful that you fill your day with prayer. Pray all day. Give thanks to God and meditate on how he blesses you every minute. You may need a coach or a mentor to keep you motivated and inspired, if you do visit our devotional programs page.
