MEDITATION MIND BODY SPIRITUALITY

Why You Should Master Christian Meditation Today

Author: Jeffrey Ordonez

Your mind transmits thought power to your body and your body obeys. If I told you that every conscious and subconscious thought you manifest in the brain affects your body for either good or bad, would you be more careful about your thoughts?

What if I told you that it's been scientifically proven that your thoughts affect your genetic activity. Would you take ever effort to discipline your mind? What if I told you that the concept of changing your genetic activity for good health is a very old concept espoused by the Bible and that God has been advising humans to perform this activity for thousands of years? Would you be interested in learning how?

Epigenetics is the field of science that explores change in genetic expressions. Studies have shown that remarkable physical changes can occur  just by thinking about them. But, thus is nothing new. The placebo effect has been well documented to yield results without and "real" medication. This is largely due to a person's belief and expectation.

What is new is how we are learning and understanding what happens to us when we engage the power of the brain. In short, when we hold a value, or belief, in high regard and transmit it to the brain by either concentration or belief, the brain transmits those signals to the rest of the body. The body reacts with thousands of chemical reactions to include the release of hormones and neurotransmitters. The right chemical combination produces health stimulated by positive thought has immense health benefits.

It's been observed that under these favorable inner environment eye sight improves, strength improves, and people appear more youthful. This is in stark contrast to the imbalanced chemistry triggered by stress or negative thought which breaks down our immune system, corrodes arteries, weakens heart function, and disintegrates organs.

Since 1990 when we began the human genome project, an effort to map every aspect of our genetics, we'd learned volumes about our genes and how they work. Suffice to say that every activity in the body is controlled by the genetic expression. Our genes operate a lot like the binary language of a computer with a series of ones and zeros. If one means "on" and zero means "off", and with millions of streamed combinations, we can effectively communicate infinite volumes of information.

What we're learning is that our thought which starts in our soul, the part of you that thinks and is aware, is perceived by the brain which transmit signals via your nervous system to every cell, nucleus, and DNA strand in you body, which then reacts accordingly.

Yes, your thoughts change how your genes express themselves. You genes were designed by God to do exactly what you command with your thought. That's called free will. Additionally, God gave you the power to have dominion over your little universe. Every thought, word, and emotion you feel affects every cell and strand of DNA in you. This concept becomes more fascinating when you take into consideration that all our genes are composed of molecules that react according to the energy signals of our atoms. The phrase, we were created in the image of God, takes on a new meaning.

Your thoughts, words, and emotions literally affect the universe of your body. It moves the waters of chemistry, it sparks electricity in its physical environment, it moves physical matter, and creates a sustainable ecosystem.

By now you're probably ready to take control over the universe God delegated to you, and you should. Your health, and even your future, depend on it.

So here's what to do.

You need to take time each day to get the word of God into your mind. You need at least 20 to 30 minutes a day. Make the study and meditation of God's word your core focus during this quiet time. The best time to perform your practice is early in the morning before starting your day.

The best way to meditate on God's word is by concentrating on the meaning of each word, each sentence, and each phrase. Your brain will grow new connections according to God's word which will control your body's physical environment to God's governing laws.

This will create harmony and peace throughout your body that will induce healthy and natural reactions conducive to health and healing. To really go all the way, here's a class I taught years ago on how to meditate on God's word.

Many thanks for reading. We love you. God bless you. See you in the kingdom.
